What do you mums do when your other half works away? My partner is working away, just started, 5 weeks away 1 week home, we have a 4yo and im 29 weeks pregnant with bub number 2. I am currently studying a diploma online which i will be finished within the next few weeks, so between that, household duties and everyday mum stuff im keeping myself busy enough during the day. But its at night, when my master 4 is in bed, house is all clean and study has been done. Thats when my emotions hit hard, although im sure pregnancy hormones arent helping. I miss the little things. My other half is a hands on dad, is great at helping with the housework without being asked and night time was our talk time. What do you do to pass the time and keep your mind busy? Feeling a little lonely...should add there is pretty bad reception where hubby works, so talking on the phone doesn't always or it drops out

I absolutely know where u r coming from but its different circumstances atm (kinda)
I find reading a good book, or buying a good tv series and chilling back and watching that, really takes my mind of things
I can relate, my partner started working away (4&1) when our son had just turned 1.
The house definitely felt too quiet for a while but I think you just start to get used to it. Definitely reading or finding a good tv series helps to pass the time. Maybe if you have a hobbby like knitting or making something crafty? If I was you though I would make the most of having some "me" time before your next bub arrives.
6 years later and my partner has been in between jobs and at home for a month and I'm really missing my quiet time haha. I miss him when he's away but I find I've gotten used to my own company.
Good luck
