I'm a recently single mum of two kiddlets, 5 & nearly 2.. I just left my mental/financially abusive partner and have moved in with my parents but my question is about breast implants... Since having my babies my boobs have gone from a comfortable full B cup to a small uncomfortable A cup.. when I wear a bra my boobs are too small to actually fit properly in a B cup (the bra slides up) but don't fit length wise into an A cup (the gap between the cups is too small) literally nothing fits me without being uncomfortable all day. Sooo after being selfless and caring for everyone besides myself in the past 6 yrs Ive decided to do something for myself to make myself feel more comfortable and confident, Ive been pre approved for my bank loan to get breast implants, I found a good surgeon and booked in my consultation on the 10th and my surgery on the 18th.. I'm so nervous and worried about scaring and pain, I had a c section with my last after and extremely complicated pregnancy (placenta previa and placent acreta), how is the pain compared to a c section and is it better to go under or over the muscle? Any times or trick I should know? How much time do I need to take off work? How did you cope with the surgery and younge children?

As a registered nurse who works in plastic surgery, the best advice for the scarring is to keep tape on the scars for at least 12 weeks. You will be amazed at the difference it makes to the healing, flattening and avoiding stretching it. After your op you will be really sore for around a week, and you wont be able to lift the kids or even lift your arms above your shoulders. Picture a t rex with the little arms, thats how u will feel ? good luck IM and i hope it all goes well.
