So basically, I hadn't seen my partner in over a month. And me being stupid forgot to implement the condom rule. I already have two kids. Not his. And certainly do not want to have another any time soon.
I was due to get the implanon put in a few days later. Once my period had started. Well I waited and waited for my period. It was 3 days late which I wasn't concerned my last cycle was 4days late before it started. I decided well it'll come eventually and went and got the implanon in anyway. My period is now 7 days late.
Should I be worried.
I've had a few little early pregnancy symptoms but these are also linked to menstration. So I'm not totally freaked out yet.
Is it possible the implanon has caused me to skip my period altogether ??
It was already late but what if I hadve waited and perhaps it would have come??
So many what ifs.

Wouldn't they have made you take a pregnancy tests before they put the implanon in? Isn't that standard procedure these days?

Well no because I'd hate a tiniest bit of light spotting assumed it was my periods. But it just vanished
You need to speak to your GP. Next time get the morning after pill, you can get it from your local pharmacy.
From experience, home pregnancy test don't say positive for me until I'm around 3-4 weeks. That's how I didn't know I was pregnant with my daughter for so long. It's only been just over a week. I have taken a few test early in the morning and all day negative.
Go to your Dr and tell them your concerns asap they really should have asked you if there was any chance you could be pregnant before they put the implant in it is procedure policy my doctor asks everytime I get my depo provera shot and if I say yes then he will wait 10 days do a test and do the shot there after if results are neg I'm usually in the week my shot is due but we still follow this routine to be careful
