Hey guys not a mummy question but I'm starting my bachelor of nursing this year, and need to prove I've had all my immunisations
I have all my immunisation records on file except my polio (from when I was a baby) - is there anyone else who has been in this situation and had there serum levels checked for polio? My doctor seems to think you can't get your polio serum levels checked - is this the case?
I have tried to call the council where I was born for a copy of my immnusation records however they said they don't have them and have not responded to any subsequent emails I have sent regarding this and checking their archives..
help! I'm a little stressed.. I won't be able to do placement if I don't have my polio vaccine/ serum levels on that little bit of paper!!

You should only need Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis vaccines to go on placement. Has your university specifically asked for the polio vaccine? If so maybe try a different doctor they should be able to do a blood test to get the serology
I've just completed my first year and I just had serology performed as my evidence. I didn't need polio though. Maybe as gp for a booster and use that as evidence?
