Currently expecting bub number 2, my first was an emergency c-section due to fetal distress after 10 hours of labour. I would love a vbac (vaginal birth after c-section) ive spoken to my doctor and midwife about this and they do support my decision and have explained the pros and cons. I would love to hear anyones vbac stories, did u try and were successful? Or did u try and it not work out as planned?

I had a successful VBAC 6 months ago.
Try to avoid induction if it's not needed. Also while the drs and midwives may be supporting you now, when you get closer they may try and put restrictions on you.
I was told I'd be confined to labouring in bed, no shower, x many hours of active labour etc.
I ended up with a wireless monitor able to shower and was only on the bed to deliver.
If you can labour the early stages at home (if your low risk and managing well) do it! However don't underestimate how quick things move. Within an hour of calling the ward to say I was in labour I was on my way to the hospital (30 minute drive) and arrived just about ready to push!
Remember they can't make you do anything you don't want to so don't be scared to say no!
Best of luck! I hope it all goes smoothly!
