What do other IMs do when they are working and have kids on holidays

I used to do a combo of school holiday care, take my holidays during school holidays and grandparents/aunts/uncle time. Oh and some times some all day play dates were thrown in the mix.

Both my partner and I work but we are lucky enough that my mother in law is now retired so she watches our kids.
