My daughter is 7 and a half, she had a rotten molar and has to get it pulled (took 8 appointments and she was so scared).. ever since her eye on the same side will just blink about 5 or 6 times in a row.. like she's blinking but she can't control it. I've taken her to the optometrist who told me it's an attention thing and to ignore it (I disagree) and I've taken her to the doctors who didn't know what was wrong but said he had a patient who was in her 50's and did the same thing and it ended up being a nerve in her brain.. he gave me a referral to see a specialist but we are unable to get in until the new year.. has anyone else experienced this or heard of why it could be happening? My husband seems to think her eye was twitching before she had her tooth pulled but I'm not so sure. Any help would be appreciated. X

My eye does this, has done on and off since I was a teen. It was for me happened more when I was a bit tense. If I massaged my face and relaxed it would just stop.
