Calling all Doulas

I'm looking for information on becoming a doula, Iv looked into the Australian Doula College and spoken with them, they have now sent me the forms for the 2017 intake, Iv always wanted to do midwifery but decided this was the better option for me. I'm wondering what the course is like, what being a Doula is like, (the hours involved and being on call don't bother me I do that now with my current job) is finding clients difficult? What advice would you give a prospective Doula? And to the mums who used a Doula I'd love to hear from you as well.
