My 4 and a half year old when going to sleep she gets her dolly and puts it under her as she lays on top of it face down and wiggles her private over it. She has been doing this since she was quiet little and just thought it was a settling technique and she would out grow it but shes nearly 5 and its strarting bother me and also worried why shes doing it now. She sometimes just brings her dolly out to couch and does it. Has anyone else come across this. Im pretty sure she hasn't been abused as me and my husband are the only ones that have looked after her also she has never seeb anyone in the act either. Please help. Or give me info who can help settle my mind this is normal and she will outgrow it. I havnt said anything to her as i don't want to say wrong thing.

Babies can and do masturbate. Little boys masturbate and little girls masturbate. They do it because it feels good. They might not masturbate to conclusion like adults do, but they do it.
There is a hysterically funny episode of House where he bluntly informs a parent that her baby is masturbating and not having seizures lol
As parents it's up to us to teach our children WHen and Where they can do this safely. In our house that is your bedroom when they are alone. When I caught my son doing it I would remind him that he can either stop or go in his bedroom to do it. They learn pretty quickly. They will either start choosing to forgo the behaviour or go to there bedroom to do it in private.
My son has always done this too, from the minute he could crawl, he's almost 5, occasionally he'd do it with his teddy. He's usually trying to keep himself awake and rocks himself to sleep.
I don't think he's gotten it from anywhere really other than it was the same rocking motion I used when he was a baby.
I did this as a child, a lot. It felt nice! I think its pretty normal.
