Family car

Looking at buying a Mazda CX-5 (petrol auto awd), for those that own/have owned one I would like to know a bit of information, how much is rego (6 months or year), how much does it cost to fill up the tank? How long does a full tank last with general running around the town? Would you recommend it? I only have one child
