So I have finally made the leap to fix the appearance of my teeth ,dental work and orthadonics ! I'm going to do Invisalign - I have been quoted $8600 in the Cairns area and they are to stay on for 2 years . my teeth aren't that crooked does this sound right , giving I know everyone is different . Just wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere I can get another quote or if this is just the going rate & time for teeth that aren't severely crooked :)

Yeah sounds right. My niece had braces for her teeth which weren't very crooked and it was about 6 or 7 grand. And Invisalign is more expensive.
But if you're teeth aren't that crooked why pay that much money to "fix" them? Go on a holiday, get a fancy new hair cut instead. Feel better about yourself. Perfect teeth to me aren't worth that much money (unless you have actual issues of course)
Yep sounds right. Normal braces are around 6000 grand for my niece and Invisalign is dearer.
Yes, that's about right. My braces were on for about 2 years and apart from one tooth in a bad position my teeth didn't look *that* crooked. There were crossbite issues and other things to fix. In addition, movement of the teeth is very gradual and they need to stay in place for some time once they're moved to prevent regression.
