Infertility & Coeliac Disease

My sister in law suffers from Coeliac Disease and has been trying to get pregnant for a number of years now, we suspect the Coeliac's may be partially to blame. She is now undergoing IVF (about to try a 2nd cycle). Just wondering if anyone with Coeliac's has successfully had a baby and what you had to do to get one! She is starting on Chinese herbs and looking into acupuncture. It is heartbreaking to watch. Thanks so much!

My sister has coeliac disease and has 2 kids no issues with conceiving. I have it too and fell pregnant very easily.
Coeliac disease is a digestive disease and I've never heard of it affecting fertility so perhaps get her to check her facts??

I am a coeliac and have had 3 children. Coeliac disease doesn't play around with our reproductive systems. Poor health can and people with coeliac who still eat gluten can be in very poor health.

What's makes you suspect coeliac is partly to blame? Are there any other factors?

As to what I had to do to get pregnant? Have sex and not think about falling pregnant. I have a wall in my uterus and had PCOS too and weirdly I fell pregnant with all 3 children pretty easy.

Undiagnosed coeliac disease can result in infertility. Perhaps she was diagnosed later in life?

My sister got pregnant naturally and she's had coeliacs disease for over 20 yrs. I can't see how it would affect fertility as it's a digestive disorder and nothing to do with the reproductive areas?!
