My preppie boy goes to 2 different after school care each week. One he went to during daycare etc, the second only started this year. I thought it would help him have mixture of friends etc.
Anyway, just found out today one of the 10yo kids at the new ASC has been picking on him when he's not with other kids. Calls him fat and ugly (he's definitely not fat and I don't think he's ugly). My boy is pretty outgoing but can also be sensitive, especially to a kid 4yrs older.
I'm going to pull him out of this ASC and just do the one, but my question is - should I let the mother of the bully know. Reason - she is actually the co-ordinator of the ASC.
I don't want things to be awkward if I need to go back there for any reason.

Talk to the co-ordinator. Tell you are sorry and actually don't know how to say it but......
The issue needs to be dealt with and if you do need to return your child in the future you need to know your child isn't going to be bullied again.
If she is good at her job, she will be embarrassed but correct the issue.
Yes tell the coordinator. Dont not tell because its her child, she needs to know.
Talk to the carers.
