Soon to be FTM, am wondering what was the earliest you went back to work after birth? Due to our current financial status, I won't be able to stay at home with bubby for very long at all.

My baby is 4 months old and I am supposed to go back in March. I can't imagine going back then let alone any sooner. I'm sorry you don't get more time off :(
Is there anything you can do to improve finances to have more time off? Switch to cloth nappies? Or only buy things second hand? I didn't buy a single new thing for my baby except a car seat. That's literally it. I got everything second hand on gumtree etc. including clothes. I see so many people going out and spending like 5 grand on everything new they want for the baby and really, that's at least 2 months of being able to stay at home. Try to buy things second hand :)
