Hi was wondering if you could ask for me.....
I'm getting married next year to the man of my dreams. I'm a single mum of an 11yr daughter. She'll be a junior maid in the wedding. I'm wanting to do some kind of special part in the ceremony between her and my hubby to be. Some kind of exchange of vows/promise between her and my fiancé to "become stepdad/daughter".
I have spoken to my celebrant but after ideas from others who have done something like this and what you did. ?

I wasn't at the wedding but my husband was recently best man at a wedding with a very similar situation. I'm not sure what the vows were but the fiancé gave the little girl a ring along with the promise of loving and protecting her just as he will love and protect her mum
We had a promise ring for our eldest and a bracelet each for the little ones. Made it feel so much more special to have them involved.
