I need to quit smoking! It is taking over my life. I'm 28 with a husband who doesn't smoke and 2 young kids and I want to quit! How have you quit? I have tried champix and I wasn't in the right headspace. Has anyone tried the QSN that is advertised on Facebook?

I've been using lozenges or gum for 4 weeks now
Apart from feeling incredibly tired for the first week or so, I feel great
No major cravings, or meltdowns
No interest in smoking at all
I worry I've replaced one addiction with another, but this new one doesn't smell, doesn't hinder my breathing, allows me to smell again (I forgot how pretty Spring smells!!!) and is relatively cheaper ($50 a fortnight rather than $200)
I quit 88 weeks ago! Cold turkey with a shit load of will power! I smoked for 14 plus years! The reality for me was it was hard, I had temporary insomnia, heartburn like I was heavily pregnant, testy and I cried like a baby for no apparent reason! Ultimately I wanted to be smoke free, I pushed through all the crap, I still count the weeks I've been smoke free the dr says I'm an ex smoker but I still say I'm quitting! Because I honestly have moments that I just want to walk outside to have a smoke! I drank a lot of water, I carried a water bottle and every time I felt stressed for the first two to three weeks I'd walk outside with my water and sit for 3 to 5 mins to take time out. There's no right or wrong when quitting!! Be kind to yourself! Breathe through the hard moments and take it literally day by day minute by minute! You can do this. I believe in you!
It probably doesn't help much but as soon as I found out I was pregnant I gave up cold turkey from a pack of wifield reds a day. Having a reason bigger than myself seemed enough to stop me, it was hard at first but it does get easier everyday that you have a win. Always remember who you are doing it for good luck Queenie ??
