Shared custody- 12 month old

Has anyone done equal shared custody of a 12 month old? Both parents working full time. How did u do the split and how did your baby cope with it?
I have just permanently seperated from my husband with no chance of reconciliation.
Splitting assets going to be hard enough now splitting time with my child is the most difficult thing I have ever done in my life.
