10 month old is an early riser at 4am

Hi, my 10 month old son wakes up at 4am every morning and I can't get him to sleep in any later. He goes to bed at 5pm and has done for many months now but was sleeping in til 5am but now only sleeps until 4am. He used to sleep in til 6-6.30am but we moved house and he started waking up at 5am, he did that for about 4 months and now wakes at 4am. It makes no difference if we put him to bed later or not, I could put him to bed at 7pm and he will still wake at 4am. It's very frustrating and I don't know what to do. I've tried putting more blankets on him thinking he's cold but that doesn't work. I've tried exhausting him in the afternoon and bath's but they make no difference either. We've tried putting him in bed with us when he wakes but he just fidgets or cries until he's up and in the lounge room. There's no noise at that time of morning that could be waking him. He doesn't wake up during the night, so he is a good sleeper, just wakes very early. I'm starting to worry because daylight savings ends soon and that will mean he'll be waking up at 3am and I really don't want that. I don't know what else to try. Can anyone help please? Have any other mum's had a baby like this and how did you manage it? TIA

Teething? My girl does this when teeth are cutting.
I give gel, bottle n place back in bed n say its still sleep time. Make him stay there til 6.30 so when daylight savings finish its 5.30.
it may take a few days but he will soon learn its still sleep time.
id also move his bedtime 30 minutes later, 5-10 minutes at a time. He will get used to it.
worked for us doing all that.

Thanks for the suggestion. He is teething at the moment but that's not the problem. I tried putting some gel on his gums and it made no difference. I can't leave him in the cot either because he'll stand there and just scream until I take him into the lounge room. I'm stumped!
