Am I a sh!t mum? I'm sitting here feeding my 2 week old child and the other one was hungry for dinner so he's having cereal. I've cooked dinner a few times since coming home but its been a struggle getting into a routine. I'm sure I'll sort my sh!t out sometime soon, but I feel like I'm failing as a mum. My partner gets to go out and do his thing but I can't cause I'm breastfeeding. Even having a shower is a quick thing these days and I haven't washed my hair in 2 weeks. I honestly feel like a sh!t mum

No you had a baby two weeks ago!!! Your older one is fed. You will find your feet but jesus give yourself a break and a bit more time!
Not shit, pretty normal, although it sounds like hubby might need to step up!
You're doing great. I remember when my first was born i didn't wash my hair for weeks! And I didn't have a toddler to look after haha.
Your husband needs to stay at home and help you more. He should know it isn't fair for him to be going out and you stuck at home. Jeez, some men are so clueless and selfish!
After I had my second via c-section I didn't cook dinner for weeks because I could barely stand. Can't your partner cook instead?
Your partner should be helping and looking after you all and cooking.
Nope not a shit Mum! You could try & do something more substantial for lunch? Buy some pre-prepared stuff. You can even buy mash these days from the supermarket. Give yourself a break you just had a baby. Cereal isn't bad for your child :)
Absolutely nothing wrong with cereal for dinner every now and then ! It's food in their tummy ! That's what matters ! Adding a new baby to the house = survival mode for a while !! Honestly your doing a wonderful job ! Go easy on ourself your doing the best you can :)
I only have 1 child and she has breakfast for dinner all the time! Some times even frozen party pies!
You are not a sh!t mum! At least you are feeding your kids.
Mwah! Hugs!
Both children fed, you are doing awesome! Doesn't matter about cereal as there is no law that says it can only be eaten at breakfast. I would have loved a slow cooker when my children were little as it would have saved me the dinner time issues. All my kids are now grown adults with their own families and the odd cereal dinner did not harm or scar them in any way.you will get to wash your hair again and you will find your own routine but bub is only 2 weeks old so be kind to yourself. Your kids are fed and loved, you're doing great!
