Finding Work While Pregnant

I've been in my current role for 6 months, since about the 2nd month I realised what a horrible environment it was but then put it down to me being picky and not every work place is the same. All my other work places have been perfect, I've loved everyone I've worked with, the environment etc.

So why don't I just leave? I'm applying for jobs like crazy however one slight issue. I'm 16 weeks pregnant. I've been on two interviews and didn't advise I was pregnant. It's not like I can hide it for much longer but then I don't want to not get a job based on this. I'm due in Feb and will want four months off before coming back to work. Unfortunately due to our finances and outgoings I do have to work.

It's hard finding temp work till then and I don't want to take on a 2 month assignment with no idea how quick I'll find work after that.

I can't stay in my current role because I just don't fit it. It kills me everyday when people call up asking where their money is from services they've provided to us. The office manager refuses to take the call and I'm left with making up excuses as to why she can't. I work in Real Estate and the property management team treats her tenants like they are scum on the ground. I'm not like this is my personal life and cannot deal with how they run and operate the business.

Any advice on what I should do would be appreciated! Do I straight up say I'm pregnant or keep it under wraps for a couple more weeks and say surprise! I'm pregnant, I didn't know. Which is a major lie.

Good temps are in demand. Find a good agency and register. If you are in the Cairns area, I have some contacts. Reply if you are and we can PM on FB

Oh my God. I am in the exact same boat. Same amount of weeks too, but because it's my third bub, I am well and truly showing.

I have applied for loads of jobs and not been successful so far, and have pretended I didnt know during interviews, but what now? I cant hide it. I feel as though no one is going to want to hire someone for a few months, only for them to go on Mat Leave :(
