i had my 6 week scan done the other day and they could see the sac but no fetal pole, I was told to come back in two weeks time. Has anyone else had this and gone onto have a normal preganacy?, my gp said you should be able to only just see it if dates are right

You might have ovulated late. I was told it is pointless to do a scan before the 8 week mark as chances are they won't be able to see a pole. Try not to stress xx
I went for a scan when I was 7 weeks by my dates but when I had the scan they could only see a yolk sac and I was measuring 5 weeks 4 days. I went back 2 weeks later at 7 weeks 4 days (9 weeks by my dates!) and there was my baby with a heartbeat. The doctor said most likely I had ovulated very late in my cycle, only a few days before my period was due.
Yes. Had it happen twice and waited the right time and my cherub is now 10. Definitely possible. Good luck
I used to work in radiology and this happened ALL the time. It's just a bit too early that's all. With my kids I waited until 8 weeks because I knew it was possible it wouldn't show a heart beat and I didn't want to worry myself. I wouldnt worry at all, just go back in two weeks and you'll see your baby's heart beat :)
