Implanon.

Just wondering if anyone can offer some experience.
I've had the implanon before for 2 years. No periods, no pregnancy, nothing. It was perfect.
When it was in the arm i could feel it but i had to feel around for it.
I have had it back in for about 2 months. I can see it in my arm. The shape of it, the whole thing. My arm is raised where the bar is. If my arm moves a certain way i can feel it poking my skin.
Been bleeding for the whole time (not much blood though).
I went back to my doctor and told them i felt it wasnt in properly and was too close to the surface. They told me they were 'pretty sure' thats how it was meant to be.
I'm terrified of it failing. I just had my second and final bub.

Am i being too paranoid or should i be looking for a second opinion possibly removal?

I'd go back, it shouldn't be uncomfortable! I'd be wanting it replaced for that reason alone. If your GP doesn't listen to you about it bleeding and it being uncomfortable find a new GP.

I'd definitely be getting a second opinion. If it's uncomfortable that can't be right. I'm a first time implanon user (a few months in) so I'm not 100% familiar with how it's 'supposed to be' but I don't even notice mine at all. It's so far under the skin that I can't see it and I can only feel it if I feel around for it.
