Hi IM's I am hoping someone may have some knowledge on this.
My husband received his group certificate the other day and last pay slip for the financial year. The Gross amounts on the Year to Date section when added up DO NOT match the Gross amount on the Group Certificate. The Group Certificate Gross amount is $1500+ More than what is written on the group certificate. The tax withheld amount matches on both.
Am I missing something??

Did the pay cycle on the pay slip end exactly on 30/06 or was it later? Sounds like later so a portion of that payslip will be covered by this group certificate and the balance will be on the next.
The pay cycle ended on the 30/6. And the 15/16 financial year group certificate gross amount is 1500-2000 dollars more than the year to date on the 30/6 payslip which was the exact end of the pay cycle.
That is odd.
