Does anyone know of those sites where you get paid to do surveys? How many surveys do you need to do to earn something? And how much do you earn? What websites are good? Just looking for success or positive stories

I did them for a few months. They are probably the most time sucking thing for the piddliest amount of money, but if you're a SAHM for example and not actually looking for work... it's a good way to kill time while your little one is asleep and earn the odd 20 bucks. Takes about 3 hours worth of surveys to earn that much. Not even kidding. Also you spend a lot of time starting a survey... you'll do a few minutes worth, then you get signed out as you don't fit the criteria for that particular survey. It's definitely more for the people who pay them, than you. You don't get every survey they send you, as in the beginning you fill out all your info (including who you bank with etc etc - I lied, no way I was giving them that much information about me), your career, your education, your age, where you live etc. And the companies who want the information sometimes state they want for example, women aged 25-35 who live in a metro area and work FT.. So they'll send you a survey, you go through the beginning of it, then you something pops up saying you don't fit critieria. For me as a SAHM it happened 70% of the time and was very frustrating. If you could just pump out survey after survey then it would be worth it, but as THEY pick who they want.. it's pretty poorly run. Sorry wasn't an overly positive experience for me. I earned about $30 in 2 months doing about 6-7 surveys a week.. and most of them take at least 20 minutes. I tried Myopinions and OpinionWorld as they had the best reviews.
I tried this and it was a huge waste of time, it's all too good to be true in my opinion.
The above comment is right, you need to spend a huge amount of time doing them for very little reward and I am still getting at least 6 emails a day and it's just plain annoying now (I need to unsubscribe lol)
I do the Myopinions one but I don't do it to earn money as such, I do a survey or two each week and my hope is that at the end of the year there's a little something something to help out with Christmas groceries. I'm getting damn sick of spending my giftcard from work every year on groceries instead of on me like it's supposed to be for :) I've also joined the IGA rewards program and Flybuys, between the 2 of those I've accumulated $50 so far this year. The opinion website might add another 20-30 by the end of the year.
A garage sale, or selling seconds on gumtree would probably help with that. Easier than surveys. I do it every year before Christmas. Sell all the good quality old toys, unused linen, furniture, storage, etc. My house stays clean with less stuff and I make a couple of hundred right before Christmas. :)
As awesome as that would be my son is an adult so there's no toys etc left, we've already given it all to family and friends.
As the others have said they can be a waste of time ! I've done them lots over the last few years on and off and have tried many of them ! I found pure profile to be the most rewarding and least time wasteful (have had several $25 payouts from them ) - there's also a few popping up on Facebook now but I've only just joined them
So I'm not sure what they are like yet :-/
