I need recommendations on paediatricians to do with behaviour/development in Rockhampton, Mackay or Brisbane areas.
My son needs to see a paediatrician soon. we live hours from anywhere so I want to travel to see someone worthwhile. Someone who will take the time to listen. We have a letter from the guidance officer from the school.
Any suggestions on who to see would be wonderful! I'm feeling so overwhelmed with it all!

My son's paediatrician is Dr Donna Taylor in Mackay. Highly recommend her as we too needed someone to listen and she has been great. Dr Tanya Dodman is also great according to friends. I highly recommend that you DO NOT see Dr Peter Roddenby. If a psychologist is required to assess your son you cannot go past Dr Kathleen Davies in Brisbane, she is amazing. Best of luck.
Thank you so much! I will give them both a call tomorrow and see who we can get in to. The one in rocky had a wait until November, and another had a bad rep. I can't believe how hard it is to get good help for our kids. Thank you again!
