What does everyone do with their toddler when they shower? When my son was little I would put him in his cot to look at his mobile or in a portacot with toys. Now he is 18 months I have to either take him with me or wait until he sleeps. Does anyone have any other ideas? He is too young to be left alone isn't he?

I call my girl, put toys outside shower n talk to her. I do things like shaving or washing hair at night, so morning showers are quick.
I put my lil boy in his playpen that he cannot get out off with loads of toys to keep him occupied
I would try putting him in his high chair in the bathroom with you and giving him a snack. You can still monitor him incase there are issues. I also wash hair etc at night when hubby is home and kids can be watched by him.
I mostly shower after the kids go to sleep. My eldest a bit different as she knows what not to do but I make sure that at least 2 out of 3 are in the bathroom with me either talking/playing or in the bath or shower, otherwise knowing my luck one (most likely mr 3) would order a bulldozer and demolish the house lol. At 10-18 months I would either lay out a blanket or put them in the high chair to be able to have a snack in the bathroom.
I bring my 14 mth old into the bathroom and give him some toys, he will crawl around a bit and play with his toys
