Working from home options?

Working from home options?

After ideas - what do you ladies do
So I have four beautiful children aged 1,4,7 & 9
I have been a stay at home mum with my own little crafty hobby business for years (not reliable and underpaid for hourly rate as most crafts are) now as returning to the workforce with this many kids that would require before or after school care, holiday care etc seems impossible. I have no family help so cannot rely on that for any care. Would love to have a more steady work from home job (not a party plan - no Avon, scents you, herbilife etc)
Don't mind if I need to retrain or study to achieve my perfect home job, as I see it being a long long long time still before I don't have to worry about childcare,
What do you ladies do for work - that works well around children
Thanks everyone xxxx

I'm currently trying to find the same thing. I've had a wedding cake business from home. And you can really make a good income doing it. But it is sooo much work, for a pretty shitty hourly rate. I swear I was working double the amount of hours I would have to had done if I got a job outside the home. But it did allow me to be home with my kids... albeit absent as I was too busy to play with them etc. My youngest is 3. Just about to start kindy and my two oldest are in school. So now, I'm looking for work outside the home that I can somewhat work around the family. Very hard to find this. I'm like you, absolutely no family support and just don't want to dump them all in daycare for the duration of every school holidays. Oh to be a 50's housewife...........
