Hi ladies, im currently 21 weeks pregnant and just had my 20 week morphology scan. With the results. It has said that there looks to be some free floating membranes around or ontop of the cervix. There are now querying vasa previa. I have now another 5 weeks to wait for a further ultrasound to confirm wether it is there or it is not. I was wanting to know wether other mums out there have had a scan with the same result then the next scan confirmed nothing to worry about or other positive experiences of mums who have had vasa previa

I've had different issues and risks with pregnancy.
It can be scary as you wait for things to start happening and all you can do I wait and wait and less certain news and wait.
My second was feet first, breech, they couldn't turn her manually so were going to going to schedule an emergency c section but it would have been high risk right through the placenta.
There wasn't even enough time for screening for my dad to provide blood for the procedure as he wanted too.
But thankfully she turned at the last minute very literally as we drove to the hospital.
Our doctors are watchful they know what to do. They may see something but aren't sure yet.
All we can do is wait. There will be many times in life like this where you wait to know in order to do what you can but nothing can be done until you know.
I am waiting this week too. I have a good book netflix and some company to wait it out with me. I swear some days I should look into getting a job as a professional waiter.
