Best Family Suburb in WA??

Hope someone can help.

We currently live in Rockingham, WA. We are wanting move away from the area completely. Living here has become a living nightmare. We have to stay close to public transport lines. We do not want to live in Perth or close by, but we cant be too far out.
We have been looking at Ellenbrook but we are concerned about the lack of public transport. My husband also has to get back and forth to Fremantle via public transport.

Does anyone know of any suburb that is family friendly and can satisy what we are looking for?

Thanks!

Not these suburbs please
*Armadale/Kelmscott
*Kwinana
*Cockburn/Success
*Fremantle
*Cannington
*Midland

Secret Harbor, Golden Bay, Harrisdale, Byford.
You haven't really left a lot of options.
I would suggest north of Perth but I'm not familiar with many suburbs up that way.

Greenwood is where I live and it's fantastic for a family. We are a 10min walk from the train station, live around the corner from Greenwood primary and Greenwood college. Kingsway and Warwick shopping centers are a 10min drive away if that. At kingsway there is also a medical center complete with doctors, physio, chemist, pathology.
