Can I please have opinions from people who grew up with same gender parents. Did it bother you? Do you think it is more acceptable these days? I am wanting some positive feedback to show a friend its ok to have 2 mum or 2 dads. Thanks :)

I didn't have same sex parents but we grew up with some girls that had a lesbian mum and a homosexual dad ( both were in relationships). No one in our families had any issues with it and it's only when I think back on it, that I realise what a big deal it was ie kids will be lead by others on what is ok. I remember being about 11 and having a sleep over at their house and jumping on her mums bed in the morning. No one thought twice about it.
