Asking for tips on dealing with a beautiful 4 yo girl who is usually well behaved and mannered. However lately all she does is argue and not listen. No matter what I say she will respond with 'but', 'I just', 'can I', 'I want', arguing with what I just said. She refuses to listen to instructions and will be off with the fairies until I raise my voice. I like to think I have tried a lot of strategies. I always ask her before instructions 'are you ready to listen?'. I always explain why I say no to things. I have explained making good choices. I have used taking away things, time out, everything! Lately all I do is yell because it is literally the only thing that works. She is getting very angry when she doesn't get her way. She is always asking for more, 5 more minutes,1 more cartoon, etc.. She's driving me crazy!!!!

She's getting a new level of independence and control over her world. Try to give her some more input. Instead of saying are you ready to listen, say here's what we need to do, how do you think we could do it?
No advice unfortunately but just wanted to say you are not alone, im going through the exact same thing with my 4yo son ??
