We have recently found out that we are pregnant. The problem we are having is deciding when to tell my husbands family. We live interstate to them but it just so happens that the 12 week mark will land just before we are back in his hometown for his cousins wedding.. I'm a bit in two minds about this. My husband would love to tell his family in person that we are expecting, which I understand. But I'd also hate to deflect any attention from the bride and groom. We're on a bit of a tight schedule, we arrive the night before the wedding and leave the afternoon after the wedding. The simple solution would be to tell them the day after the wedding but everyone's going to work it out if I'm not drinking at the reception. What do you all think?

Don't over think it. You being pregnant doesn't take away from anything. Just tell them when you get there.
If you're overly worried, try messaging the bride (if you can trust her to keep your secret) and ask if she would mind, or if she would rather you wait until the day after the wedding.
You could just say you have to drive later so your not drinking
