I would love some POSITIVE stories and experiences of having your tubes tied.
I am booked to have it done at surgery and have only read scary stories and experiences.
There has to be some good experiences out there?
Share your positive experiences PLEASE!

People love to tell there horror stories! Truth is the majority are complication free.
I had mine done about 5 years ago. It was day surgery, hardly any pain, didn't even need the pain meds they gave me for after. Was back to normal very quickly. My periods were ever so slightly heavier but that was probably because I'd come off my hormonal contraceptive.
The gyno did a good look around while I was under so a great opportunity to see how everything is going. All came back clear.
I'm still extremely happy with how it went and the outcome. No doubts or negatives for me.
My sister had it done about 6 weeks after mine. No problems.
Best thing I ever did! Took all the subconscious anxiety about falling pregnant away and sex improved as a result. My periods didn't get heavier just a little less regular as no hormonal contraception and then menopause kicked in and they disappeared altogether. Yippee. It's 15 years ago now and no adverse effects at all.
I had mine done at the same time as a c-section. The pain wasn't any more than it should have been. I'm now wishing they had failed at the operation but no such luck. My periods got a little heavier they're also a little longer. But not so painful. The sex I have is better as I don't need to worry about falling pregnant. Just make sure it's what you really want. I did it and regret it. Now I need to go through IVF.
