vaccinaton vent

This is more of a vent than what do i do but here it goes. We are a vaccinating family. Anti-vaxers really piss me off (not those that have a medical reason). I dont hold immunity to some really nasty diseases even though i am fully vaccinated (inc boosters). There are a lot of really sick people in my family where a simple cold will put them in hospital. My son (2) is also fully vaccinated (as is my hubby). Knowing full well that im not very well and i have a crappy immune system we went to a birthday party were the little girl was sick. This turned into a 5 day stay in hospital for me and a very sick little boy. The girls mother didnt tell anyone about it or move the party for when she was better. Ill call her mother A. A is a bit nieve and will fret about everything she hears (she wont go to the beach because she doesnt want to be attack by a shark which she thinks will happen everytime she goes, etc). Anyways. Another friend of mine (ill call her M) who i have known since childhood, is an anti-vaxer. She goes on and on about how its poison and natural is the way to go etc etc. I dont know how, but A and M have met and are now friends. For 3 days straight ive had A on the phone to me crying and panicking over the fact her daughter is vaccinated. She took her to the emergency room and wanted the doctors to take out the vaccinations from her daughter -_- she had a talk with the doctor and showed her some info and she was good again until she put it on facebook and M commented on it and now A is fretting. Ive told her straight up that she is being and idiot and completely ridiculous. M is peddling her own "herbs" and "essential oils" and is trying to get A to buy them. Today i found out that A has spent over $200 with M but complains to me about spending $6 on antibiotics (her money, dont care. I just dont want to hear it and yes ive told her this). I also found out that M's son has whooping cough (8 weeks old). A had a play date with M and now it looks like A's daughter has it too... they both emailed me to organise a play date so my son can catch it and get it out of his system!!!!! -_- both knowing full well that i hold no immunity to whopping cough, have asthma, my husband has asthma and so does my son. after a very graphic phone call to both of them i have cut ties with M and finally convinced A to take her daughter to Emergency (where they have rushed her to the kids hospital in an emergency condition). I know ill get backlash for this bit but i have called child services on M along with all the emails i have recieved from her. She is going to kill her kid if she keeps going. For A i called the hospital psyc team so hopfully she can get some help. Ive cut ties with M which was hard because she is a childhood family friend. Ive had to tell my family about all this too because she goes to my parents house. She tried coming yesterday looking for me (thankfully i was out). My terminally ill grandmother lives with my parents, if she catches anything shes dead.
Why do people have to be so f**king sellfish. Vaccinate your kids. Stop thinking about only yourself. Think of other people who rely on there being vaccinated people around them. They are not poison... example: Chlorine will kill you, but combined with sodium, give us salt. Its all about chemistry people!
