Hi sisters,
Feeling really down!!
I'm sitting on my bed next to my 11 week old baby feeling incredibly down,
I have 3 school age children also and a hubby who works away, who also happens to be my best friend and I constantly miss him like crazy,
The thing is,I feel I have no one,no one really bothered to visit when we had our baby, and I feel like I really don't have any friends,I'm quite sad and embarrassed by that,
I didn't end up going to mothers group as baby was a very unsettled bub,and screams everytime he's in the car,so I didn't bother,
Now I just find myself doing nothing, and staying home,
I'm not sure what I'm trying to say/ask just more of a vent I guess,I feel stuck, and sad and very lonely!!...
Thanks for reading ??

Go to mothers group. I know it's hard with a grumpy bubs, but it's never too late and the other mums will also be feeling isolated. It will make you feel so much better.
Things sound tough for you at the moment. Especially with your husband being away.. There's still time for you to go to mothers group ? If it's something you really don't want to do maybe focus on doing something that you enjoy. I can't imagine you get a lot of time to yourself. Maybe put bub in the pram or baby carrier and go for a walk or when bub is asleep give yourself permission to read a book, or phone a friend, or sit and have a hot cup of coffee rather than doing jobs. Whatever it is to allow you to have a moment for you
There are often local community or mums pages on Facebook. Try posting something to see if there are any mums in your area interested in having a coffee and play date. Or take the kids to a play centre or park in your area, you never know where you could find new friends. Try putting yourself out there a bit! Good luck.
