It is rare to get a false positive on a home pregnancy test but it is possible. I don't see how you could get a blood test wrong though...
Might have to wait a bit and see :o
How long before your period was due did you test?
It is possible.
Home pregnancy tests ( HPT ) can register the hormone change from 15 mUI.
However a blood test (whilst it can register this) the labs won't record a positive result unless it is over 50mUI.
Some pathology labs won't unless it's over 75mUI.
It is possible to have a positive HPT and negative blood test if it is very early days since the parameters are different.
I would wait a few days and test again and see if it gets darker
Keep retesting. It's really important to monitor as there is a high chance of tubal/ectopic pregnancy in the case of tube tying.
False positives are really rare.. almost impossible. But you would think a blood test would be 100% accurate. Sorry im no help but please let me know your outcome.. very intrigued!
