Personally I'd get the Bellini if you use it a lot then invest in a thermo.
I have friends whose thermos never get used and others who use daily. I don't think you ever know which you are going to be.
I borrowed one from a friend to use. Personally it wasn't for me. I enjoy the processes of cooking and so would rather chop and dice my own vegies etc. I also think it changed the texture of some foods which I didn't like.
Also if you are meat and three veg people then it becomes pointless.
So I'd borrow one or get a Bellini first!
I have a thermomix and love it. Use it multiple times a day. Until I found some good recipe sites (such as skinnymixers) I didn't use it as much as I do now. First id go through and find plenty of thermomix websites and find recipes and if they appeal to you then start out with a cheaper option and work ur way up? (Skinnymixers also have their recipe instructions for the Bellini).
I love how easy and fast it is to get school snacks made. It used to take me soooo long to fill the freezer with school snacks now it only takes a few hours (I make HEAPS)
