I'm kindof getting tired I hearing "it's ok you've had 3 kids" when it comes to my weight. I hear it when I talk to others about my weight and I tell myself too. Well I can't use that as an excuse. It's not because I've had 3 kids because after each baby I weighed lighter than before I was pregnant. I can't blame being pregnant and having a baby. I'm lazy and I eat shit. There I said it. And I don't know what to do about it anymore , I've gone from 70 kilos to 100 kilos in 6 years. Wow I just said that too. My husband loves me and thinks I'm sexy I don't think he sees it. But I feel it.

Atleast you arent making excuses anymore. I think alot of over weight people are in denial about how much they weigh and what they eat. Now its time to move to the next step, cutting certain foods out of your diet one by one, adding healthier foods and slowly start becoming more active. Good luck
i am the same, but I have 2 kids! I have gone from about 70kg up to 97/98 kg in the past 4 years! I am always lighter when I am breastfeeding but as soon as I start to wean, the weight creeps on again. But i am like you, I know why, I dont make the right food choices and dont exercise nearly enough. So I have decided to join Weight Watchers online and have started walking with my double pram and heavy baby and heavy toddler in there a couple of times a week! I am doing it slowly but even starting to get more active, I feel better already! You can still have food treats, but just have to be minimal! Good luck on your journey, you will be happier and healthier for it in the long run, even when you dont feel like being active, think of how good you will feel after!
If your really worried about your weight only you can change it :) you have to be strict on your diet drink water only and count your calories. I lost 20kg in 6 months by firstly using optislim shakes (for a week) to kick start my weight loss. I lost 5kg in a week. Then after that I just careful watch what I eat. No junk food small meals and no snacking. It gets easier once u start seeing results!! Try the optislim shakes (strawberry best) I promise if u stick to it for a week or so u will drop the kilos :) good luck.
Oh and I have 3 kids too lol I weigh 50kg again!
I am in the same boat as you & only now just starting to stop making excuses. My main problem is boredom eating & eating in between meals. I'm trying an approach this time of getting my food issues under control first before adding exercise into the mix, so at the moment I'm using a food diary (myfitnesspal ap is great & free) and ensuring I'm only eating breakfast, lunch & dinner and if I need a snack, a piece of fruit. I want to do this for the long term so I feel like its better for me to get my eating under control to keep it simple to start with, then in say 3-4 weeks time ill start getting on my (dusty lol) treadmill for a bit each morning. You really need to be in the right mindset to make a life long change. Best of luck : )
Go walking five days a week. At least half an hour. Better if it's more. Rain, hail or shine - go. Slot in a convenient time for you and don't break the appointment. Most importantly it's food though. I wouldn't go crazy with a diet at first - destined to fail. Maybe each week, set yourself a new goal. If you eat dessert every night. 1st week - do nothing but stop all eating after you've had dinner (I even find that really hard!). Second week, add a new thing. Maybe focus on your snacks and only have fruit for snacks. Keeping adding a new thing until you're at a point where you're having three wholesome meals a day and two healthy snacks. Portion size is so important. Buy smaller plates and bowls and don't have seconds. 100g of meat is all you need, then the rest of your plate should be veg and a tiny little bit of carbs (potato, rice, pasta). Don't ban the 'naughty' foods. If you feel like chocolate. Have a LITTLE bit - a freddo or something. Have one dinner meal a week where you eat WHATEVER you want. You're going to be STARVING at first. But just battle through the hunger. That's technically your body eating itself, haha. If you want some help the Michelle Bridges 12 Week Body transformation is absolutely the best thing ever for getting portion sizes right and learning how to train.
I am in the same boat. We had a premmie son & lived at hospital for 4 months, eating takeaway. That was the beginning. From there it just spiralled & hubby and I both put on 30+ kg. After many failed attempts we are now week 4 of Michelle Bridges 12wbt. We love the food, are both exercising & although only at the start, we both feel better. It takes a lot to admit it to yourself so you've taken a hard first step! Congratulations. You know what you're doing wrong, so take steps to change it. All the best :)
Hi I'm in the same boat. I had my second baby 6 months ago and managed to climb up to 103kg!! I started with shakes and will power in the first week to get my hunger under control. It helped heaps and in week 2 I wasn't as hungry and so I started having 3 small, protein rich meals without carbohydrates. If I was hungry between meals I had a small piece of fruit. I've dropped 8kg since Boxing Day so it definitely works. Every now and then I have a cheat day or few days to kick start my metabolism again. I know some people will frown upon this "style" of diet but it works and I know I was desperate and depressed and this pulled me out of it. I've also been jogging and have worked my way up to 3km without a stop. My doc once told me that just because your tummy is grumbling, doesn't mean you always have to eat!!
SAME! I had IVF and my weight went from 70 to 100 in 5 years with all the meds. I lost the bulk of my weight whilst pregnant because I was so sick. My youngest is 3 and I am now at my heaviest. Drastic I know, but I am scheduled for gastric sleeve surgery in 3 weeks. I have zero willpower and need an enforced boundary. I plan to do Michelle Bridges once I am back on solid food
