Ladies... Just wondering can anyone tell me if you can go half public half private with pregnancy ??
Ok so I want an elective Cesar.. So I have to use my private health for that ?
But can I do the rest such as scans etc through public ? Does that make sense ?????

You sure can. You can do as much or as little as you want either way.
Can i ask though, with no criticism, do to need to have a caesarean or is it a choice thing?

So you can basically do everything public then towards the end find a obstetrician ?
The 3 week recovery I had for my natural birth was way better and enjoyable and much preferred over the 8 and 12 week recoveries I had with my 2 non elective C-sections. I understand your choice neither way is safer than the other there are major risks for both, but when I fall pregnant again I'm travelling to my nearest city 750km away to try a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) because I'll be damned if I can't do anything properly for months again. Good luck with everything!!
It's so hard because everybody is different. My gf had a natural and was cut from there to there :( was in pain for weeks !!!! Can't deal...

Sorry but it pisses me off when people have elective c sections why don't just have a normal delivery in a private hospital
