I went to the doctor today for my son. I missed his name being called but neither my mum or son heard either. When we got into the room with the doctor I apologized for not hearing him as I must have been distracted. Doctor asked if I was hard of hearing. I have no idea if he was just joking but said I wasn't. After looking at my son he said my eye lids cover part of my pupil. I took a few seconds to answer as I didn't know what he was talking about me for. I said um ok. And he said droopy eyes are a sign of thyroid problems. To which I also took a few moments to answer and said they have always been like that. He said that's ok then and that we wouldn't worry about it. I looked up symptoms of thyroid and wonder if he was looking at my weight, tiredness and slow reactions as symptoms. My mum suggesting I should get blood tests just in case but I don't think anything is wrong with my thyroid. Problem is even though lots of people say they love my eyes and say their beautiful I keep associating them with something bad. My mums also always had droopy eyes. Now I kinda hate them :( even if there was something wrong with my thyroid going it wouldn't change my eyes

I have an under active thyroid and taking 1 tiny little tablet a day makes such a huge difference in my life. If u think u have any of the symptoms please get it checked out because left undiagnosed it can become a problem.
Also I'm sure u have beautiful eyes, don't let his rude bedside manner change ur opinion of urself.
