Has anyone been told their babies are in the 15th percentile at around 28-29 weeks gestation? What was the outcome? Did your baby continue to grow or were they delivered early? Scans show that everything is in proportion, baby is just very small. I have another scan in 4 weeks and the specialist said they would decide then if we would be meeting our little one earlier or continue with the pregnancy. I guess I'm just after others experiences and outcomes please, feeling a little scared right now.

My midwife told me every visit that my baby was small & then when I had him naturally he came out a healthy six pound ten. Turns out they thought he was smaller than he actually was. Good luck!
My little girl was small through the whole pregnancy and was born at a healthy 2.91kgs (6lb 6oz) at 37 weeks (I ended up with blood pressure problems so got induced) and she was born in the 15th percentile. At 3 months old, she is 5kgs and currently is still in the 15th percentile. The community nurse has upset me with saying she isn't big enough for her age but she is a happy and healthy baby who is just small. Her peadiatrician sees no problem with her weight. Try not to worry about the charts. As long as your baby keeps putting on weight, they will stay inside.
My bub was in the 17th percentile for a lot of my pregnancy. I measured smaller than my weeks and she was small in the scans. She was born early (induced due to my own health issues) at 38 weeks and weighed 6lb 1oz. She was tiny and tiny for about four months. She caught up though (exclusively breastfed for the first 6 months) she started chubbing up after 4 months and is now in the 80th percentile and a big chubby girl :)
I spent many a sleepless night worrying. Try not to stress. Just remember whether you stress or you don't, the outcome will be the same. Worrying won't help it will only harm yourself. Easier said than done I know but just see if you can distract yourself and be as positive as possible.
Also, if you are able and wanting to breast feed then do it. Being smaller at first my bub was sick all the time. I was told over and over to put her on formula because it can put weight on. I refused because I wanted to give her the immunity protection only my breast milk could offer. She now has a great immune system and by 6 months was in the 75th percentile. It took nights of feeding her hourly when she was sick and it wasn't easy but I believe it gave her the best possible start. That said if you can't bf then don't stress on that either. I am sure everything will be just fine. Chin up. Keep positive and good luck!! X
