Hi Mummas. I am currently pregnant with #3, and booked in to have a c-section soon (medically needed). I feel my family is complete now. I have started thinking about getting my tubes tied during the c-section surgery. I have spoken to my Doctor about this also.
I am wanting to hear experiences from people that have had this procedure done. Any side effects you weren't aware of / didn't expect, recovery, did you regret / love your decision.

I got mine done during my c-section best decision I ever made
I got mine done with my third, c- section. At the time it was the right decision for me ( wrong relationship) I regret having it done and want to get it reversed not so easy when it's been cut and burnt instead of clamped. They cut and burn with c-sections. Will be going through IVF in a year or so. With my new partner.
I had my tubes tied not during a c-section. I had slightly heavier periods because I wasn't using hormonal contraceptives anymore, so they returned to there normal state. So if you get heavy periods or painful periods it's probably not worth it as women in that situation end up using a hormonal contraceptive anyway to cope with periods.
I had my tubes tied during a c-section. It was the second time I had a c-section & I wouldn't have even known they tied my tubes if I didn't ask them too. Lol. Recovery was pretty much the same too. Congrats on your pregnancy.
