Hysterectomy / Menopause...

I.M Qu: Surgical Menopause: Hysterectomy
Wanting to hear from any ladies who have undergone a hysterectomy for menopause reasons, or, how it affected menopause when you had a hysterectomy for whatever reason.
Considering having a hysterectomy (in peri-menopause and already finished family) to speed up the process/ease symptoms and also COMPLETELY CEASE and totally eradicate periods forever.
Other forms of contraception are not an option as they don't completely cease bleeding. TIA.
