Hey fellow Mummies! I'm currently 29weeks pregnant with a 2yr old boy and 7yr old girl. My eldest has been talking like a baby heaps and I ask for her "normal Dakoda voice" and it works for a while and she'll do her crafts with me or whatever activity we're doing and then eventually she'll start doing it again and even say "goo goo gah gah" pretending she's a baby. Same with talking to family and friends. The past week she's pretended to have bad dreams but she hadn't even fallen asleep yet and forces tears. I'll pop her back and bed and we throw the bad dream in the bin and pray for new lovely ones.
Am I missing something? Is this normal?

It's a stage, it can be hard being the eldest, little ones are so clingy and she is old enough to know a baby will mean you will be less available. So she is doing things that she thinks will get your attention, by being a baby.
Ah my girl has started this. She speaks beautifully always has for her age and now she's made up baby language and it makes me angry. Could be wrong but to me it's her saying I'm a baby too! Look at me! This is cute right? Give me love and attention and baby me!
I don't know though. I try to give her big sweet cuddles and treat her like my baby, lavish extra sweet attention on her but so far the baby language continues...
