This morning I had my dating scan for baby number 3 (already have boy 3.5 and 18 month old girl). We discovered in carrying twins. While this is exciting it also carries many other unknowns. Besides the medical risks (I'm a plus sized mumma) I'm also worried about the extra financial costs. Our house is small (but we will cope), we own two five seater cars. And at present we receive no centrelink benefits. What have other mumma's done in my situation?

Gumtree and buy swap sell pages on fb will be your friend for bargins. You may still have a cot etc from first two your just going to need seconds :). Start buying nappies now when they are on special or just add an extra pack each shop. But a money box start putting any change you have in it. Medically no advice just voice your concerns with your dr and midwives. Look for multiple suppory pages on fb. Car wise start looking at something in the same value range as one of your current cars you may be able to do a swap for a 7 seater there are geaps of car sales pages on fb and people swap cars all the time :) i also saw a great thing on fb about people wanting to visit when you get home and telling them your welcome to visit but in this time its hard as a family so please dont come with a gift come with a meal or a job like a load of laundry to help out a tired mum :)
