So I have seen recently advertised an online course from a company called Talent Med to become a medical transcriber. It is an online course, costing around $4,000. I am looking for some thoughts from people who may know anything about becoming a medical transcriber. I'm just wondering if this is a worthwhile thing to do and if the work really is completely online. I am also completing a certificate 4 in office administration through OTEN. Wondering if that would also help me get work as a medical transcriber. Any input and advice about this career path would be very helpful. Thank you.
