To relocate or to stay??

To relocate or to stay??

I am splitting with my partner and not sure where to relocate. My support are almost 2 hours away up north and I'd like to be close to them. Trouble is I have a 9 year old son who loves his school and adores his tight nit friendships with his mates, he is very academic in his schooling and I have high hopes for his future. My daughter is almost 7 and wants to move school (she was bullied in class last year).
I don't know what to do. The only thing keeping me here is because my son is excelling really well and has a really great friendship network. Any advice would be super!!

Thank you so much

I was in a similar position and decided to stay, I figured the breakup alone was enough upheaval for the kids, and I didn't want to add to their stress
It would have been nice for me to be closer to my family, but I was amazed how much my social circle grew after the breakup
Good luck, such a big decision to make for your family, whatever you decide it will work because you'll make it work xx
