parental leave

Hello
My husband and I have a 6 year old and would like to start trying for a second child. Hubby works full time and I work about 15 hours a week. Im a casual employee however my hours are always the same and have been since I started with the company February 2014.
My question is a centrelink question. I thought I would ask here before I spend 2 hours on hold to centrelink. I do understand everyones situation is different.
I realise I wont get maternity leave as I am casual but was wondering if I will be entitled to any payments if we have a second bub, currently I dont get any centrelink as My husband and my combined earnings are over the threshold.
Will I still be entitled to paid parental leave through centrelink even though I am only a casual empoyee? And does anyone know roughly how much the payments are?
Thanks in advance. I will contact centrelink if I fall pregnant but just wanted some advice first.

Go on the Centrelink website, all the info is there and there are online calculators so you can plug in your projected income etc.

Your husband might be entitled to paid parental leave if you need the extra hand around the house for a while.
You also might be able to get a little family tax benefits from centrelink. But you won't get 'paid parental leave'.
Go online, use their calculator and work out if you'll be able to get anything on just your husband's wage. Then call a centrelink working to see if you'd even be eligible for the payment.

I thought it was you just had to work minimum of 10 hours for the previous 10 months prior to having baby to be eligible for parental leave whether you are casual or part time but all info will be on Centrelink web site!
