Do you have a community health centre, doctor, church? As you are in a small town I'd start with my GP as they often or can find out about services in your area. Even the principal of the local school. You can also ring lifeline or 1800respect. If you have relatives or a friend that you trust make sure you inform them what's going on.
His parents witnessed it today and blamed me for him kicking me with steel capped boots on. I didn't speak nice enough and I have no family close by

Yes we have 2 kids and we are married
Definitely make an appointment to see your GP, they can refer you to appropriate services. You won't be able to get out immediately but they will be able help.
Have you tried ringing lifeline, or 1800respect, also can you speak to the police in your area safely?..

Call your local womens centre/refuge they are not only a refuge they offer support at the centre.
