My daughter does...specialist advised not an issue will fix itself....which it is at 3.5years...if you operate chances are it will refuse...only issue is with horizontal wees...lol Gynaecologist advised only an issue in teens if still fused.

Yep, miss 2.5 has. Found it at about 8 mths. Gave a very mild hormone cream (estrogen I think). The pead said it was just a lack of hormones and that it would fix itself eventually but the cream worked in about 6 weeks. It has slowly refused but not nearly as bad as it was and doesn't seem to cause any issues, aside from the horizontal wees lol

My daughter has it. I haven't checked it in a year or so, as she's now 8 and she's not too keen on me looking down there, but it opens and closes all the time. Went to specialists etc. They just said it should fix itself before puberty. I'll have to have a look now, I think, to make sure. But I wasn't going to put her through cutting it open, unless it was absolutely necessary. So obviously, if by age 9, it's still closed, I would consider it then, in case she got her period young. But they do say... majority of the time, it fixes itself

My daughter had a vaginal adhesian where her vagina was sealed with a thin layer of skin. One doc said leave it, another prescribed a cream (never used & when I asked gyno they said not to as too abrasive) went back aged 2 to original gp and he prescribed a mild cream which disolved the skin. His son used it for his foreskin that wouldnt retract. She doesnt remember it so glad got.it sorted before she was old enough to understand and be embarrassed by it.
